when i press the shortcut of ctrl + alt+ delete, task manager still does not open. Is there any other way i can open up task manager?

You can also right click your taskbar, and click on taks manager.

Also you can go to start, click on run and type in this..taskmgr

nope its still not working, i must have some srt of virus. theres gota be some way ui can get it running again! come on u wiz kids help me!

Yes it looks like there is a virus out there that takes away your Task Manager.

As I am not as Hijack this log swavvy as some on this site, I would post a hijack this log in the hijack this section of the forums..
