I don't think that anyone else then Medion has any use for/info over that MED number. (Im not saying that it is>) and if the pc was stolen maybe the police.

I don't know if you know them but its just like a Dell "service tag".

Drop Medion a line and ask them if they can provide you with full details about the operation and configuration of your bios.
