Post [Fixed] neeed some simple help

i am needing to figure out how to make a backup of my xp pro because i am having probs with my pc crashing and telling me that i need to have a bootable diskett to boot my pc but the only way i can do that with out a back up bootabe is to reinstall my xp and i dont want to have to do that :computer_microsoft will eventually get tired of me calling for keys becasue they are a onetime activation only pls help me pls i am going crazy here

Your best bet would be to create a new partition on your existing drive and then backing up the data to that partition with programs like these: http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/col...id,1352,00.asp - If you need help creating partitions then ask for help here

ok i will try it but i would like to make a floppy disk that is bootable for back up also just incase or is that even possible ?

Do you mean a boot disk that will kick off a restore?

Also, don't worry about MS and re-asking for authentication codes, I have called them ALOT of times and I actually think the automated lady kinda likes me now

lol yea something like that a bootable that will kick off of a restore point is that posible ?
