Hi Itszztom,
NTLDR is missing means there is no bootable media, hd cd whatsoever present. Most likely the guy who 'fixed' the computer deleted some system files. Your best bet is to get a bootdisk here
a win98 bootdisk will do.
1. Start from the disk, run fdisk and delete the c partition.
2. Afterwards reboot and enter the bios using F1 F2 or DEL
3. set the cd/dvd as first boot device
4. insert the winxp cd
5. choose save settings and continue
6. setup windows

Bram
ps. you know for sure the winxp cd you have is bootable and your mothherboard support booting from cd?
ps2: I'll be leaving in an hour or so and I'll be back tomorrow...
