I just recently moved my hardware into a better tower. To be specific its a Thermaltake Tsunami Dream. (Most awesome tower I've ever had) The tower has a total of 3 large fans and it keeps the hardware very cool. Soon I'll also be getting a couple heat spreaders (also by Thermaltake) for my RAM. I was wondering, with all this improvment to cooling, would it be possible for me to overclock my computer to get more power, without risking damage to my system?
Indeed the better the cooling , the safer , and the further you can overclock youre pc. But always be carefull and dont push it to far or you might fry youre pc.
Looks like your whole family is going to be rockin' and rollin on the PC side. LOL
Listen, you can overclock you PC, but there is no guarantee that it will not damage it, and you must understand that it considerably lessens the life expectency of the CPU.
ok umm, the moment I started reading this. . my eyes glazed over. I have not a clue what its talking about. is there a simple explaination? like if you do this this will happen? lol like how much can I expect the life of my cpu to reduce and such?
You just got your PC working and up to speed, enjoy it. Read up on overclocking, when it doesn't make your eyes glaze over, you will be ready to do it. Until then, have some fun, and don't look for things that could potentially harm your PC. Give it some time.
*sigh* ooooooooooooook. lol I suppose you're right lol. . . ya know, I should get a cool title on my profile thingy. . like "Destroyer of Computers" or "Comp Stomper" lol
