Default benq laptop restore disc ****

my benq 3000 is partitioned c drive is 10gig -d drive is 20 gig, c drive fills up everyday, so am forever deleting files, all my program are on an 80gig external hdd, what I tried to do was reformat with just the windows off the restore discs, I put them in found the image with ghost, tried to open it and GUESS WHAT, it is password protected, Benq will not answer my email to give me my MY password, so what I am asking is, Can I make a cd of windows by getting the files off my pc, is there any way I can do this please, I want a laptop with one drive of 30gig, I do a lot of paint shop pro animations and run a msn group, so have lots of files being uploaded and downloaded, can you please help,
PS I would never buy another Laptop, my heat sink got full of dust, overheated and blew everything after 14 months, they will not tell me how to get to my heatsink either, if it was a tower I could do it no probs, but I do not know where to start on this one
Regards Crazymoona

Hi crazymoone and welcome to PCHF,
I don't know the apssword either but you should boot from the recovery discs. That way the ghost image will be opened by benq's installation program (where the apssword is at) and installed.

I'm sorry but that's the only thing recovery discs allow to do. When you want to create a partition yourself the's no other option then to obtain a brand new xp unfortunately
