Did you do the overclocking yourself? If so, what tools did you use or how did you achieve this in the first place?

actully i have to do these things for my computer to see if i can get this game working. (alot of work for a game, but o well). here is what i have to do , this is the letter from activision:
The problem may be hardwre related. check to make sure you have all of the latest bios update drivers for your motherboard. Many motherboard chipsets require AGP, IRQ routing, and Busmastering drivers to be installed in Windows to run properly. You should also make sure that your AGP aperture size is set to 64MB in the motherboard BIOS and that you are not overclocking your videocard or processor. Finally you may have consumption issues. Your power supply might not be adequate for the amount of hardare in your machine.
Somebody please make sense of this, i have no clue what to do.

howdy jjtbejazzin,
When it tells you to check your aperture size you can get into your BIOS by either pressing esc upon bootup or F1 depending on your brand of pc. When inside your BIOS go to the advanced section and you will see aperture size, there will be numbers like 64 128 etc. And it is also saying your power supply may not have enough power. But if you never overclocked your card then it is not overclocked.

If the power supply is not good enough, maybe the socket is faulty or u can try another socket to see if the supply is good. Cos sometimes it got to do with the wiring of the socket.

Matt
