Exclamation [Fixed] Computer wont shut down

Ok, my computer failed to shut down yesterday, and as a result i had to press the power button  . Now i have reason to believe that the updates the were released from Microsoft yesterday (dated 16/12/05) are the cause of the problem. My computer was fine before this. Im at a loss and the other computer in the house has exactly the same problem.

Just to make sure the other computer has also downloaded that updates?

Yes and they've been installed (by my dad)

Well to make sure this is because of the updates (which I've also downloaded and no problems with), could you perhaps check on the Microsoft Website what the updates were, and try to uninstall them from the control panel, to see if this solves it.

I see, you can easily uninstall them via Control Panel -> Software.
Could you try that?
