Thanks for the votes of confidence its in the all programs thing under the start button so I guess I go there from now on when writing stuff?

there looks like its got a calculator and some other stuff ...cool

so if i got something written in "my e'books should I move it to the new place? I'm gonna go play with it see if I can learn something then I need to concentrate on learning how to burn music and files to cd & dvd's what would be the best book to get to learn the basic stuff that most people already know..you know like a step by step learning procedure ..I go to tutorials but I always get lost of side tracked ha ha ha it's like ohh thats cool and oh yea that too and whats this and next thing I know what was I doing in the 1st place:icon_joke

but really thanks you all are great

All the programs are in the Start Menu, in a folder called OpenOffice.Org 2.0 . As for books, i recommend SAMS Teach Yourself guides.

:cheesy: You are so welcome SR, as always it is a pleasure to help someone with your enthusiasm.

Just for the record, I get sidetracked with that stuff too. LOL. It's so easy to want to see everything at once.
