Windows XP/2000 - XP2 need a hole in the firewall posted in the Operating Systems forums; I just installed a network scanner. I can scan to my PC with the Firewall down, but can't with it up. How do I open firewall for the IP address ...

Default XP2 need a hole in the firewall
I just installed a network scanner. I can scan to my PC with the Firewall down, but can't with it up. How do I open firewall for the IP address for the scanner? The open a port doesn't take an IP address...

Hya Blkbeltcpa , if you use the sp2 firewall then i never used it myself but have a look here for info:

and see if that helps you.
