My Microsoft Anit Spyware asked me if I should allow command.com in my start-up programs and I blocked the move. No problems with my PC afterwards but the command box pops up and then closes when I start the pc. Not overally bothering but can anyone explain this?

Hello Carlito and Welcome to PCHF
When it asked you if you wanted it to be added to the start menu did you run somthing such as command, or try to run somthing through the run command?

command.com is simply command Prompt in XP, it is either accesed via cmd or command.com in the run box, so it is perfectly legitimate.
