Howdy Mr. Pig,
Your pc is slowing down? And when you monitor goes crazy what does it exactly do. As for the pc slowing down it is natural after time for your pc to slow down, due to files being allocated and reallocated, files being fragmented etc. But viruses and spy ware can also be the culprit as well. If I may make a suggestion, read this thread on how to get a hijackthis log and some prework and we will have a look at it for you to make sure your not infected with any alien's:smiley: .

There are 2 problems u have to solve. By the look of this, your PC has either too much install programs or adware. Secondly, i would recommend a change of ram to 512 . It would not give u much problems as having a pc with 256 ram.

hey all , 10x for answering (I will post hijack log later because this computer that we are talking about billong to him...... ) so we tried to format the computer and it didn't help
there isn't so much programs on the computer
and I`v some knowleadge in computers so I can say that there isn't any strange file on the taskmanager

about the mointor getting crazy, its going on and off lots of times untill it stop and you can back and do your bussiness on the computer..

the computer himself doing some times restart automatcliy (not like the blaster virus you don't have 60 secs, its just restart)

so what can I do ?

p.s
about the 256 mb, windows xp sppouse to work with 256 mb of ram, even with 64 (slow, but still..) and I did there that the windows will try to use all of the sources only for performance .. so I don't think that it is the problem..

10x: )

Have you made sure the video card is seated correctly? And below is a program to tell you the temps of the pc just so we can get that out of the way first.
http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php
post back the temps of the cpu and hard drive.

Also you can do this so it wont restart..

Right click my computer/properties/advanced/startup and recovery/..not untick the box that says automatically restart. And why your there go into your device manager, and let us know what it says under system for error reports.
