i dont know if this is the right place to post this but almost the whole left side of my keyboard is messing up......these keys typing double......for some reason...ASsaXZzxqwWQ1221......tab = caps.............caps = tab...............here i am typing how it is if i didnt edit each time...masn thisa isa sao confusaing asll thisa isa doing ias thisa asnd i dont knoqw howq to fixz thias.............help please!!

Let see if we can help you out.

Try the following:

• Try change the keyboard layout within control panel, if you are using windows xp go to START - CONTROL PANEL - REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE OPTIONS - Languages - Details. Then change the keyboard to English (united states) and see whether it works.
• Try and disconnect then reconnect your keyboard to the PC.
• If you boot your PC into safemode does it work normally?
• Do you have another keyboard that you can test on this PC?

wow....i dont know if that was just a short time glitch but it's working now.....

im on a laptop btw....maybe it was overheating over something??? ok...nevermind, its back at it......

how do i reboot in safe mode

Re-boot youre laptop , keep tapping f8 and a menu will appear where you can select safemode.

i rebooted....and changed my language to english just to make sure......but itas satill typing like thisa........and when in safe mode it still was messing up....

What type of laptop are you using?

You need to make sure that you haven't enabled Numlock because this can cause these sorts of problems.

I have a Dell Inspiron 2200.
