Thanks a lot for helping me with my last problem and I am back again! My desktop will not respond but everything else works fine. No icons or folders appear on it and when I right click the properties option or any options won't come up, yet when I use a program where I need to select a file using windows explorer or something it shows things on the deksotp that ive downloaded. I would appreciate it if anybody could help me, thanks.

Hya Bob , lets first have a look if you maybe have some malware again.

I think i found you're problem , WBlinds5Beta2. BETA software could cause problems like this , especially skinning apps.

Where did you get that version?

i figured that was what its from, i got it from the website http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/ i really like the imac look:-) do you have any idea of how i could enable the desktop?also im gonna go look for a different version of window blinds, thanks edit: i just checked the website and they came out with window blinds 5, im gonna see if that fixes it, thanks

sadly it did not fix my problem.. ive googled the problem and nothing seems to come up, any ideas? thanks
