Hey SA,

Have you done a registry cleaning since this started? If not, try downloading RegSupremePro from my sig. Install and run it. It will want to make a backup of your cache, let it. Then click on the Registry Cleaner tab, choose Aggressive. When it is finished, click on Select and choose All. Click on Fix, let it fix everything that it finds.

Your link to the other thread didn't come through, but if I remember correctly the guys looked at any potential hardware issues, did they not?

@Joe, does it seem odd to you that SpicyAutumn has Python on her PC pointing to the Python home page? It is a legit program, but it's a language, if she isn't programming in it, why is it there? :icon_scra

PS , if a post is marked "Fixed" , it isn't closed , you can still post there.

Sorry this took so long. My computer will reboot in safe mode but it won't do anything in normal mode. At least it's 1/2 fixed.. ugh.
Here's the HJT Log:

You can fix this one with hjt:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

but other then that i don't see any problems there im afraid.

Maybe it is an idea to try an repair install , you'll keep all youre files but you will have to update windows again:
