Default [FIXED] - cli.exe

Well here's the deal, I put in a wireless card into ym computer and moved it to my room and it worked great (well as great as I expected it to considering it was completely damaged). So I format and install XP and start putting all my settings back and putting Anti-Virus and Friewalls and what not and suddenly when I boot this annoying little ****** comes up:

cli.exe Application Error

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to Terminate the application.

OK
I haven't seen anything that doesn't boot up but it gets highly annoying when it pops up every single time I turn the computer on.

Hey DarkLord .

This process is related to your ATI graphics card. I would recommend visiting the ATI site and downloading the latest driver for your card (you can find the download center for drivers here).

Be sure to let me know if it works

Well the drivers were the first things to get updated after the format... I did an uninstall/reinstall of the drivers, didn't fix a, edited for language content, thing. I'll run lievupdates though, maybe that might fix it

Did you also install (updated) motherboard drivers? And directx? (you have the latest if you have sp2)

But you can also disable it trough start/run/msconfig and remove the tick infront of it on the startup tab.

You only loose the tray icon access from youre vga card then , but you can still change the settings trough display properties.

Well after running like 150 updates it stopped popping up. I've updated all drivers for every hardware device connected. Now my only problem is that the wireless card just loses connection whenever it feels like it. It'll have a maximum signal for like 3mins, then disconnect, then have maximum again and then disconnect. I can't download any programs, can't use chat programs, can't even use Outlook Express nor connect to certain web sites, gaming online is totaly out of the question. It worked fine before, it still disconnected every 30mins or so but it was much longer intervals. The router is exactly one floor under it in the garage, the laptop in the room next to mine is also connected wirelessly and hos absolutely no problems staying connected, it stays connected as long as it's on, however my computer doesn't do that, very annoying...

Originaly I had the drivers from the CD but then Windows Update decided they were outdated or something and installed new ones.

(Example: it took me 14 tries to post this message)

Could you try move your PC into the room next door just to double check that there is no interference in your room causing the network to loose its signal all the time.

Do you have another wireless card you can install in your PC to test the connection?

Moving the PC probably won't do a thing since I used to take the laptop into my room and it would work perfectly fine. Maybe moving the computer closer to the door might help though.

As for another wireless card, we bought the card that Linksys swears is compatible with their wireless router and it was kinda expensive (around 60$) so I doubt it's the actual card.
