I can boot into safe mode, but I don't really need to. My comuter runs stable and fine the majority of the time.

I'll do the prework thing right now.

I don't think it is malware, as this is a relatively fresh reformat (I've done several since the problems started), but it could be the 9800 pro was faulty and I've got a completely different problem now.

With the 9800 i used to get all sorts of crazy things happening whenever it crashed, with weird noises coming from my speakers (high pitched buzzing), my screen just going wild flahsing colors and textures, and I'd have to reformat every time.

Now it just crashes for about 15 seconds every now and then, then resumes (in games), and randomly reboots while I'm surfing the internet or doing other non 3d things.

You can also have a look with one of these apps to see if it is a heat or voltages/psu problem :

http://mbm.livewiredev.com/

http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php

Or test youre memory with this app :

http://www.memtest86.com/

And you can also try a hard disk health test here :
(allow to install the directx controll , this is safe)

I've ran memtest (no errors) and a hard disk health test (no errors, but I haven't checked my PSU voltages. I just assumed they were good because this PSU is supposed to put out 28 amps on the 12 volt rail. It isn't name brand though, so it could be that.

I've attached the hijack this log, and I'm installing ewido right now.

There are my temps and voltages. I also checked my 6800s temp through its hardware monitor, and it is at 55 C.

EDIT: since it went to a new page I attached the hijack this log again.

No problems with the psu or heat it looks like , and youre hjt log looks also clean.

Only it looks like you previous had Norton AV on youre pc? And you don't have an AV or firewall at all now , that might not be the best thing to do.
You can have a look in our download section for some free one if you want.

And lets have a look if ewido finds anything.

That wasn't Norton i think? Afaik they don't have any free AV's , thats makes this half entry even stranger..

But it doesn't point to anything , so that makes it hard to diagnose..

O20 - Winlogon Notify: NavLogon - C:\WINDOWS\

Its an half entry of an Norton entry.. i think.

Can you have a look if you have this file on youre PC:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\NavLogon.dll
