for some reason I am now unable to use the new version of yahoo messenger . when i click on the icon to bring up the lil box to log into , it shows up on my screen for just a split second & then it disappears before i can log on ... i have disabled my firewalls , I have un installed yahoo mess. & re installed it & STILL no luck , can anyone please help me before i take a baseball bat to my puter ....lol

First of all, is your computer completely updated? That would be my first question.

Why don't you follow the instructions under PreWork in my signature and post back your HijackThis log, so we can rule out any malware conflicts.
