Default ATI Cards

Hiya, you might try removing the vga card and plugging your vga connector to your on board vga, I have seen this before with 9800 AIW's, the card might be blown.

Default Computer not booting

Try a different power supply. I had a problem like that and found out the power supply went bad. I replaced it and the computer booted up fine. Hope this helps

Thanks for helping out Casperbird, and welcome to PCHF. However, aznmaven already answered that one.
I can't find another vid card or PSU to test.
It's always a good idea to read the entire thread before posting.

Clicking hard drive? My teacher's laptop's hard drive was clicking, but I fixed it surprisingly. There's a program called Spin Rite, last time I checked it cost $80, but somehow it fixed the clicking. The nearest thing I can figure is there was some magnetic damage that confused the computer and it got stuck on that area of the hard drive. To my surprise, Spin Rite fixed it and I haven't heard any clicking since. It works beautifully now.

edit-
and after reading the entire post, i see the hard drives are working normally. lol, I shouldn't speed read. But still good info for other problems, eh?

Hey Guys,

Thanks to all of you who are trying to help Aznmaven, but please make sure to read the entire thread. He has stated,
I can't even boot to bios.
which is eliminating the harddrive as the most pertinent problem. My suggestion is that you monitor this thread for Zimbo, Hengis, or Mere_Mortal's suggestions.

Hey aznmaven

Have you tried what radar suggested:
Hiya, you might try removing the vga card and plugging your vga connector to your on board vga, I have seen this before with 9800 AIW's, the card might be blown.
That way we can rule out a video card problem
