Default [Answered] high download speeds in XP

I have recently had my net connection upgraded to 4MB, and was wondering if there was anything i needed to do to make full use of the new speed in XP.

the reason i ask i cos i remember installing a new modem for someone not too long ago and the driver disc asked if the ISP was higher than 4MB. if it was then i should install a patch on XP to allow high speeds.

Well I can't find anything on the Microsoft website, and I got 4mb connection to, but my ISP has never provide my any information about this. By the way I'm downloading using Firefox with speeds up to 500kB/s, and that's the peek of my connection.
