It's still there. Installed Norton System Works 2003 last night. Computer went totaly bonkers, restore points are now corrupted, I've lost MSN messenger for some reason, installshield wizard is dead, system is slowing down. Systemworks diagnosed about 600 reg keys damaged and a buncha programs missing or having corrupted files, fixed everything it diagnosed, now I'm seeing a real bad startup, half the programs I usualy have that startup open and then crash and burn and won't restart, like the ATI Tray Tools.

Did/does systemworks make backups before repairing? If yes , have you tried restoring that?

As far as I know it doesn't make backups, and after repairing those reg keys, some of the other problems were fixed, like system speed is almost back to normal, MSN kinda works again

Can you go to: "my computer" and rightclick youre C: drive , select "properties" and "tools" and then do an "error check" there?
You will have to let it reboot youre pc for that.

Ok well it did a 3 step error check (normaly it's supposed to be 5 or 6) and aparently it didn't find anything. I had to schedule it with Systemworks though because it wouldn't let me schedule from the Properties tab. Nothing changed.
