Default XP Pro registraition

I just bought a newer version of XP PRO and it wants you to register with microsoft. The last XP PRO I installed never wanted this registration so I could use it on a few computers. Is there anyway around this.

There is no legal way to install it on multiple pc's , and the previous copy that you had was probably a "corporate" version. Those don't require activation but still legally you can only install them on one pc unless you have a "volume license" for multiple pc's.
