Post Desktop Webpage problem

Here is the situation:

I have created a quick way of changing my destop background using the webpage on desktop feature in XP. Basically i have crated some buttons on which when you click the background changes.

The problem is that when i click the button it not only changes the picture but opens javascript:void(0) in a new browser window.

How can i stop it doing this?

Here is the link for the code if you want it: http://geocities.yahoo.com/zendithos/index.txt

Hi, and welcome to PCHF .

The Windows desktop itsself is not capable of handling website viewing. It only has the capability to load the specified active wallpaper. When you click on a link, Windows opens a new browser window. It is not possible to get the desktop to handle this... Sorry! .

ah well. Guess i'll just have to do it the longer way by making a flash version on the page. Takes longer but easier to customize.

LOL, I wouldn't be complaining about having to do it via Flash myself, I wish I had it (waaaay too expensive)
