edit: but driver is pre-included in windows, as the mouse works instantly after it is connected.

I understand that the mouse works straight away but you are not getting full functionality from it. Please can you tell me exactly what is written underneath the mouse - name / model / serial number. Thanks.

Have you checked the settings for your mouse in Control Panel, it may be that the default settings are not set to scroll.

Your mouse is the generic P/S 2 sent out with eMachines, so the drivers aren't listed specifically for your mouse,

You should have recieved some CDs with your computer. Can you tell me what was included?

maybe, it brought a cd, dont remember with which computer. but if the middle button works, and my last wireless mouse worked with wheel, i dont see how a driver is going to fix this.:icon_scra
