Default Scrolling A page

Hey Guys, Hows Things...

1 Question. I have a celeron D 331 @ 2.66GHZ (NOT OVERCLOCKED).. Does the CPU have an effect on the way the way a page is scrolled down and how smooth that pages is scrolled, cause everytime i scroll down the page, it is kind of jumpy, not real bad, but it aint smoth like my laptop. I have 512mb ram @ 333mhz, 7200rpm IDE hd and the new INTEL 900 GMA onboard graphics. IM guessing its the cheap CELERON D CPU I BOUGHT. Thats where i think Get for what u PAY LOL... Any IDEAS ABOUT THIS WOULD BE HELPFUL, THANKS, GRANTO...

Personally, I don't think it's your processor...I think it's graphics related. Have you got the latest drivers for your GFX card? Also, are you scrolling with a scroll-wheel on your mouse? Maybe it would be worth checking the drivers for your mouse and also, if possible trying another mouse...

I don't mean to interfere here, but i'm pretty sure this is because of your graphic's driver. Install your graphis driver from your CD that come bundled when you bought the pc instead of using the one in Microsoft's database. Just coincedence, i'm having this kind of symptom 2 days ago

Could be both. But try reinstalling you gpu driver's. And the newer Celeron D cpu's are not as bad as the old one's at least the new ones have a 533 fsb instead of only 400.
