ok need help now!! just installed norton on the p.c and suddenly cant log into msn messenger cos it asks me for the password an i forgot it(it was 3 yrs ago), also to look even dumber i have forgot the secret answer to my question cos it was made up of a number of names, have tried to contact msn but no reply, anyway anyone on here now another way other than a restore(i tried that) to fix this problem.....thanx in advance!!!!!

If you don't remember the answer to your "secret question" then I am not too sure how easy it will be to change your password.

You should be able to provide an alternate email address and they will send you a password. See link below:

Is the password still saved with asterisk's in the password box?

Don't ya just hate it when that happens.

You could always just create a new username. Kind of a hassle if you use it all of the time and have lots of "buddies" but not such a big deal.
