Default Wheres my programs?

Ok... this started off yesterday when I deleted 8 Gigs of **** and old vidoe from my desktop (lol)...... when I was done, I found my recycling bin have dissapeared. So I googled this, and found some "registry" thinge... and ran it.. and the recycling bin came back.

Then my computer went aweful slow, so I just left it be.

I went to bed, and woke 10 minutes ago (but my brother says he was on for 10 minutes earlier to check something... worked for him). Everything had froze when I turned it on, so I restarted my computer. When it restarted, it was taking an unusually long time... and for about 45 seconds, all it shows was the cursor and the wallpaper (this scared the **** out of me).

2 New things came up out of the usual restart:

1)A message/error that something called "Intellitype" failed to run or something (dunno what it is or what it means)

2)A "Windows Installer) box come up, that says " The feature you are trying to use is on a networl resource that is unavailable... and tried to instll something called "OpenMG Secure Module.msi".

But when I click "OK" nothing happens...A it just comes right back up... as if its unable to do what it wants to.

And in addition, When I click Start<All Programs, NOTHING happens. NOTHING opens.

ALSO in addition, "Search" fomr the start menu also doesnt work. ("Unexpected error")

PS: I'm thinkin this is something related to the registry file :S

I've restarted my compund nothing changes.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Thankyou for reading

Welcome to PCHF , Torrobinson2.

Can you give some more info as to what you deleted and how?

Also if you go to "C:\Program Files" are you programs still there?

Ah yes, My Programs are still there.

All I deleted was a bunch of old video files and files for Sony Vegas and some PSP homebrew I was done using.... nothing out of the ordinary...

Not much info to go on , Have you deleted things from youre "documents and settings" , "windows" or "program files" folders?
Or maybe from the registry? Have you used any programs to clean anything?

:-) Hi Torrobinson2,

Can you please follow the instructions for the PreWork in my signature? Please make sure to install HijackThis into it's own folder.

We'll look forward to seeing your log posts. (copy and paste the ewido log into your post, they tend to turn into Chinese when they are saved as text files for some unknown reason  )
