Default [Resolved] mouse properties

hey, quick question ...
i recently upgraded to win xp and gave my old win me upgrade edition to a freind. he upgraded with no prob, and so far no glitches or anything except the fact that mouse properties dialog box pops up every time he starts windows. there is no accual problem with the mouse or anything else. it is merely an annoyance and i was wondering why it would do this and how i could make it stop?
thank you!!!

Default Re: mouse properties

:-) Hi Bassmeant,

Let's start here, as far as we know your license for the Me Upgrade extends to your friend.

Now, he should look in MSCONFIG Startup to see if the Mouse properties are listed. (Just click on Start, Run, and type MSCONFIG in the dialog box. Click on the Startup tab.) Look for a program that is associated with the Mouse showing properties. Take the tic out of the box next to that entry, and the problem should stop.

Look forward to your reply,
