I just got a new pc which i put together myself and was trying to setup the OS(WinXp) when the system keep rebooting when it comes to the initial part of the setup process.

System:
-AMD Sempron Processor 1.8ghz
-Asus K8N
-Kingston 400 ddr 1024mb
-AGP Nvidia 5200 128mb
-Hard disk 80gb
-Dvd rom
-AcBel ATX400W power supply

I have followed the motherboard manual in putting together the components. Just do not know what or where went wrong..

When your install stops are you getting an error message? If so can you post it back here? Did you follow the instructions for formatting your harddrive?

Another thing we need to find out is, roughly how long after running the setup does the system reboot and does it always happen in the same place?

Could you also check to make sure that all your system fans are running properly and that the system is not overheating.
