Go to start
Run
type cmd
Press Enter
then type ipconfig /renew

That should do the trick,

If that doesn't work right away

thy first "ipconfig /release" before "ipconfig /renew" :wink:

done the second method relaesed all 000 when renewed it was the same ip address weird !

Ok lets try this:

Right click on your connection
Choose "Open Network Connections"
Right click your connection and choose Properties
Highlight "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)"
Click Properties
Check both "Obtain an IP Address Automatically" & "Obtain DNS Server address Automatically"
Click OK twice

This is because the DHCP server keeps your IP address in cache linked to your MAC address.
Depending on the DHCP server's configuration this can vary from 30 minutes to unlimited.

If you want another IP address you can change you MAC address?

Is the DHCP server on your lan or do you get an IP from your ISP?

But what is thereason you want to have another IP address? :|

tried the first suggestion and they are already the options buttoned
i am on broadband with Ntl also use wireless linksys router use a network cable with my pc to connect to router
