Default WMP Gen Question

For those that are familiar with WMP, there is an option on the tool bar that lets you minimize it and still have access to the play controls. For some reason, my controls are not high lighted for me to click on them; just the volume is. Is there a way for me to turn it on?

try (when in full mode) right clicking the very top of WMP..Now click show toolsbar..
