Default XP Pro taking an excessive amount of time to 'loading personal settings'

Hello,

First of all thank you to Merlin and Joe 5 for the help with the WinAntiSpy posts - managed to get that fixed by listening and learning - but have something now which I can't seem to get fixed - sound silly but it is annoying, what is happening is that when logging in to xp it is taking an excessively long time for the 'loading personal settings' thing to happen and the desktop to boot up. This has only happened in the last couple of days - I was wondering if there may of been any obvious things to check.

I have checked for viruses using both a locally installed & up to date version of NAV and an online version of trend and I have checked through the HJT log and nothing I can work out seems out of the ordinary with either of these things.

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

TyC.

:-D Hey Ty,

Aren't those guys the best? Can you do me a favor please, just to be on the safe side, I would like to take a look at your HJT log, but if you would please do the Pre Work listed in my signature, and then Attach your saved log (look for the Browse button next to the attach dialog box. I will see if anything looks suspicious.

You say that this began just a few days ago? Are you aware of anything that changed, new software, etc. at that time?

Look forward to your reply,

TTFN

Don't see any obvious problems but can you give any info on this one? im not really sure about that one.

C:\Program Files\Console\Gateway\Gateway.exe

If you don't know what it is you can upload the file here and see what comes out:
