I've just looked in my event viewer and it lots of errors have happened. is there anyway i can put it up for you to see?
The source of the errors say they are DCOM and others are service control manager and atapi!!!

:banghead: Ideas?????

yes you can open it up and press cntrl and print screen and save it as a jpeg and host it through image shcak in your post... As for memtest save it to the floppy and reboot.!!

Hmmm...do you anti-virus protection running (this was a symptom of the Blaster worm)? Also, go to Windows Update and get all the latest patches for your PC.

You could also try this:

change the following services to manual

(1) System event notification (depends on BITS service so make sure it is set to manual)
(2) COM+ event system

Also,

1) In the IISADMIN service properties> recovery, set all recovery options to "Do not take action "
2) if COM+ event system keeps on starting , disable it
