Default [Fixed] Drivers Missing

Hi i have just joined this forum and may i say its excellent.? I have just reinstalled my XP Home as it was playing up and needed a clean up. For the first time after the installation my modem and a few other drivers are not on the system. I used the disc which came with my computer so i know that they are all there but it hasn't loaded them this time. Does anyone know why or what i can do about it as i will have to chase the internet for a few hours to find all of the missing drivers

Thanks for any help you can give me

Welcome to the forums,

Right firstly could you download and install Belarc Advisor and post the results onto the site for us, that way we can see exactly what system you are using.

The next thing to do is let us know what drivers are not currently installed, two ways you can do this:
  • List what drivers aren't installed - or
  • Take a screen shot of your Device Manager (listing all the yellow icons) and post it onto the site

Thanks for the message i don't know where to download it from i looked at your homepage but can't find it

can you point me in the right direction and then i will follow your instructions.

I have attached a screen dump of my device manager to show you the drivers that are missing. The modem is on a generic driver so it works but its not the correct one.

thanks

I have clicked on the program and run it on my computer. A webpage came up with all of the details. Does this automatically send you the information

No , Belarc doesn't send out anything. you will have to copy the contents to a post here.
