Default [FIXED] Low Disk Space error Message

:-) Hey Guys,

I used Merlin's magical reformating formula when I reinstalled XP. (Awsome tutorial dude,) and every thing was groovy, then somehow I got some rotton little monsters that infected my PC past Spy Sweeper Sheilds, Spybot Tea Timer, Zone Alarm, and Norton Anti Virus.

Started getting Low on Virtual Memory error messages, even tho only D has Page File functionality.
Set the properties as 4050, which is like 15 less than D has allocated.

Now I get over and over and over the Low Disk Space message, which if I click on, shows that there is 0kb of all file types taking up space.

What am I doing wrong? :banghead: ?

:-) Hey Merlin,

The Low Space error is showing as D. I don't have low VM ANYWHERE, there is C which has a gig, there is D that is empty, and I haven't installed most of my software yet, (kind of lazy there) but I am still gettting these stupid error messages.

I did get the Low on VM error to stop by making sure the ONLY drive with Page File capacity was D. Now it just thinks D is low on space, even tho everything shows 0kb. Aaauuggh.

ok go to your disk management and right click D, click format drive.. It will go through all the warning's and such. Do it in NTFS. default and give it the name Page FIle and click the box that say's perforam a fast format.. Let me know when your done.

:-) Hey Joe,

When I reformatted the hard drive, D was formatted like that, you want me to reformat it? Also, C has like a gig of space and D is set to 4050 for Page File, the whole thing is 4064 I think.
