Windows XP/2000 - [Answered] pc bug help posted in the Operating Systems forums; my system restarts every so often and when i check event log i get this The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000007f (0x00000008, 0x80042000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). ...

my system restarts every so often and when i check event log i get this

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000007f (0x00000008, 0x80042000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini082305-01.dmpevery once and a while my pc reboots and i check event log and this is what i get , is there anything i can do about this?1`

Welcome To pCHF

Can you tell me was OS you are running? If you are running XP, go into your event manager and see what the error was exactly. And then

Right click my computer...click properties..then advanced...startup and recovery..and untick the box that says auto restart so you can see the error in full, download cleanup in my sig below and run it see if this helps the problem! Also if your running XP

Go to start click ojn run, type in msconfig...go to services and untick windows debugger service...

when i went to services i did not see wondows debugger in there
