Default [Fixed] Disable diskspace check.

If I want top copy a file of my PC to an external drive which is compressed NTFS filesystem, windows explorer is using the filesize an free diskspace to check if the file can be copied.

I use a lot of virtual PC & server images which are very large but can very easely be compressed with ratio 3 to 1.
So I have a 2 GB file compressable to 700 MB, and I have still 1 GB free on my compressed external disk Explorer refuses to start the copy due 'not enough diskspace'.

Then I use a Norton Commander clone: EF Commander Free (Pr? 1993 PC users know what I'm talking about. :wink: ) to copy these files. But still i want to disable the diskspace check on my explorer. :

See if this does the trick:

Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoLowDiskSpaceChecks"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoLowDiskSpaceChecks"=dword:00000001
