After a time(before my format) my drives didnt autorun any cd anymore, withought any apparent reason. In the options it was checked. In addition the name of the cd I had in drive at startup persisted and didnt change when I changed cd...
Anyone know what this problem is? I dont have this problem any more(format) but a friend of mine still does.

If you're having problems with this, grab this: Powertools for XP - install it and then you can really easily turn autoplay on/off in the menu. There are loads of other things to play with in that program too.
