Default [Fixed] computer reboots under certain conditions???

My computer reboots itself for seemingly no reason under certain conditions. I never had this problem before Win XP. If I use my webcam or my dvd-burner or are multitasking aim and something else my computer will reboot itself. I don't know wether its a power supply issue or a software conflict or maybe an overheat? but why only now after win XP (upgraded about 3 months ago) and why only at certain times not all the time. someone please help. my girlfreind just bought me a dvd burner and i cant even use it cuz 5 minutes into the burn my computer resets itself. windows error reporting says the cause is unknown and to consider a bios update but i know thats not the problem cuz my bios is newer than my motherboard and processor and like i said how come this problem just sprung up?
Thank You,
Tom

Welcome to Pc Help Forums

Also besides sending a screenshot back of speedfan, (if windows is telling you it's an error) can you tell us the exact error? If it automaticcly reboots, we can tell if it is heat related real quick by doing this... Right click my computer...click on properties...click on advanced...and under the startup and recoverey tab untick the "automaticcly restart circle"

And you can go into your event viewer to see if the error is in there!
