So I updated to Service Pack 2 and now I can't use AIM. Everytime I load up the AIM IM window it just crashes when I uninstall SP2 it works then I reinstall and boom failed. Is this a common problem or is there some settings i can adjust to fix it? Trillian just isnt the same

Is AIM at the latest version? I have AIM on SP2 and it works fine.

yea I tried the new one and same issues arise

As far as I see find there is not a widespread problem.

Try unistalling AIM and download directly from AOL that should get you going!

Edit: I had that problem when I used AIm, after SP2 I just unistalled AIM downloaded it again and reinstalled it after that it worked fine

I had the same problem, it wouldn't go away until I purged my registry of every scrap left by AIM, don't reccomend it unless you're desperate tho ?:-o .

Ask and wait for complete instructions first, clerksrat. No use messing up your reg for nothing.
