Actually Merlin,

I used to be a tech instructor for a group of VERY unsavvy PC users. (retailers AAAAAHHHH!) I think your explanation was extremely well written. It is also very user friendly. Seperate it out into more readable paragraphs and I think you could practiacally post as is. ?::idea::

However, you might want to add instructions on how to copy it into a notepad file and save it on the desktop to be printed out. (Sans the lovely picture unfortuneately (sp?)

I'm off to go reinstall with your partitioning ideas. I am really looking forward to doing it this way. It is very logical.

Merlin,

No offense taken, I already have too much testosterone in my life. I am outnumbered two to one. Actually if you include the cats, it's three to two, so I guess that's a little better odds.

Seriously tho, I am still downloading my backup to Xdrive, but I think your advice is well written and sound and should be posted as instruction. I told my husband about it and he is considering reformatting and reinstalling his computer just because your advice sounds so logical.

PS, Spacekid, no offense or anything, but doesn't your moniker say it all? lol JK.
