[Pending] Cant access my folder
Yes i know im new but i have a major issue with my pc that i need to fix asap
On a hd that runs seperatly i have big issues, it started with one folder with my most recent music i had downloaded off itunes, when i tryed to click on the folder instead of loading in, nothing happened for a few seconds and then a box popped up saying "drive e has not be formatted yet, would you like to format it now?". So i was like wtf and clicked no, anyways it gets worse, it then left that folder at random and went on to effect a few movie folders and worst of all a folder containing around 15gb of dance music i had. At random, again same issues. So i click on hd and it still ses i have same amount of space used up, but when i click on sub folder to dance, the music folder thast holds all genre folders of my music then suddenly i have lost 15gb of music. Worse is when i right click on the affected folder (i can right click still but there is no way of phisically entering the folder) it ses the folder contains 0 bytes of info at all. Now ive tried various ways of looking at the content, dos wont dir list, it dosent regnise the folder almost, and via the network (flashfxp from another pc on the network) the folder shows as empty. But the room is still there and i have no idea what has happened. All other folders function fine, perhaps with a slight lag b4 entering actually, right clicking on the affected folder takes a while to see options also btw. So please please somebody tell me how to recover my precious music i have been downloading for 5 years
