The content.ie5 folder may be hidden.

Paste this in the adress bar (replace adminisrator with youre name) and press enter.

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

Joe - I did what you said but kept getting 'programme not responding' - so cant delete anything.

Hengis - I've learned a lot these past hours - but I don't know how to create a new user. Help please !!!!

Maybe try and boot into safemode and try to follow Joe5's instructions from there.

1.
Open Computer Management (right click on "My Computer" and select "Manage"

In the console tree, click Users.

Where?

Computer Management > System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Users

On the Action menu, click New User.

4.
Type the appropriate information in the dialog box.

Select or clear the check boxes for:

? User must change password at next logon

? User cannot change password

? Password never expires

? Account is disabled


6.
Click Create, and then click Close.

? To open Computer Management, click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.

? A user name cannot be identical to any other user or group name on the computer being administered. It can contain up to 20 uppercase or lowercase characters except for the following:

A user name cannot consist solely of periods (.) or spaces.

I created new user and did a scan - now have about 250,000 files.? It still seems a lot but it's a heck of of a lot better than 1 million ++.

Tomorrow (cos it's turned 2am here) if you can bear with it, and if I haven't been banned from this site - I will be asking you how I get back my administrator privileges, and how I recover my photo album, File library and other folders, and also my favourites.? !!!!!!!!!!!!!? (or is that asking too much lol)
