When I boot up my Compaq Presario 6000, it requires me to turn it on, press the off button, and then turn it on again for XP to load. On the first try, all it comes up to is a black screen and a solid HD activity light, but no sounds and monitor is in standby. Second try XP boots up. This is a really annoying problem...
I can't see why it would be under-powered. And darnit, I can't call HP about it because my comp is out of warranty and support is $40 :|. Maybye I will take it to my extremely computer-oriented friend and we can put a new one in... About how much does a PSU cost?
