Default [Answered] Lock notice

Hey,

Recently i have been getting a small notice poping up on my screen telling me that i have activated/disabled Caps/Num/Scroll Lock. It wasnt really a major problem but suddenly it started making my screen go all white, messing up games, pop up appearing in multiple corners.

I was told else where my Accessibility Options have been enables, but after going through both options and wizard i cannot find anything that has been activated.

Does anyone know how to disable this function as it really is starting to drive me crazy

XP-Lite (Free) will remove the following "un-installable" parts of windows:

- Accessibility Options
- Accessories
- Games
- Multimedia
- Operating System Options
- Server Components
- System Services
- System Tools & Utilities

You will probably be best removing Accessibility Options completely if you are sure that you have un-checked everything in the Accessibility Options settings and you are still having problems.

Thanks, it managed to calm down the flashing and multi pop-up problems but...... the pop-ups are still appearing in the bottom corner :-(

A small retangular grey box in the bottom right corner of the screen. Either says Scroll lock/Caps lock/Num Lock : On / Off

hmmm..click on Start > Run > type msconfig and press enter > go to the startup tab and tell us what's in there that you don't recognise or you don't think should be in the list...
