That error message should still be held in your systems error log. It would really help if you could find and post it here. The way to get to the error log is like this:

Right click on My Computer
select Manage
on the left of that new box click on the "+" next to Event viewer
then select "application" and you should see a red X in the list when your problem happened
if you double click on that line it will give you an error message, let us know what it is.

Ii too cant play my worms 2 game on my PC, i bought the triple pack and i also bought all the other worms games on ebay..... sadly i didnt read what was said below it and saw that ir might not work on Windows XP (the system i have), does anyone have any clues as to how to fix this problem so i may play the game the error that poped up was " 16 bit windows subsystem (that was at the top) f:\windows\system32\autoexec.net the system file is not sutable for running MS-Dos and microsoft windows applications. choose 'close' to terminate the application. does anyone here have a clue on how to fix this i am so far unable to run Worms 2 and worms armageddon. thanks

Its a currupted autoexec.nt file, easy to fix, ill find the KB Article from Microsoft.

easy for you to say, when i pulled up my command prompt it show as follows "f:\documents and settings\joash j>", and the other thing that microsft tells me to do requires the microsoft disc, witch i dont have at the momment, can you help me figure this out madgamer thanks for all your help.

Here we go,

I have attached the autoexec.nt file, browse to your c:\windows\system32 folder and copy the file into there.
If you asks you to overwrite any files click yes.

N.B you will need to unzip the file I send you.

Once you have done this, reboot your machine and test.

well got some good news and bad news..... the good news is i got it installed.... the bad news is....i get a "no audio Error No cd in drive!" :oops:
