my pc wont boot up in normal mode. it only lets me log on in VGA mode and safe mode.the last time before i restarted my cp i did , many diffrent virus,spyware and adware scan programs.anyways when i try to start it up normaly it gets passed the XP screen then it just says black. then i restarted it again and i picked for it to use the last known good config and it still didnt work. wut could be wrong?

(and i cant restore bec my system restore was turned off)

i did a scan on pitstop and it said that this is disbled

A possible fix for you.

** If you haven't upgraded to SP2 try that before trying the fix below **

Boot into "Safe mode" - right click on "My Computer" - select "properties" and then click on the Hardware tab - click on the "device manager" button and go to "system devices" in the list - select the "+" sign next to "system devices" and find "Microsoft System Management BIOS Driver " - right click on it and select un-install.

Re-boot and let us know what happens.
