Default [Pending] BSOD

I just built a new computer for myself and decided to give the old one to my brother. I used my harddrive in the new computer so i took an old 20 giger and put it in. At First I kept on Getting BSOD during the install of XP PROF, eventually though i got to install with no problems. Those bsod all seemed to be hardware related. After getting the install completed i threw on some of his favorite game. After trying to play those game I get Physical Memory Dump BSOD's, for either dxg.sys or some DLL im wondering if the HD is crapping out or if maybe something else thats fixable.

Hi & welcome to PCHF.

3 things spring to mind after reading your problem.

1) Obtain the correct graphcs card drivers
2) Re-install the latest verson (or the version that your graphics card supports) of DirectX
3) The graphics card is kaput!

Well I will CHeck the Drivers and directx compatability, but im thinking that its more to do with the bios or hard drive, since it only started to do this when i put the 20gb HDD in started doing it, also it was working fine with the old hard drive. the Videocard is an integrated sis 630/730 (by the way)
