I dont know if you are the head or not but if you should change it to The Great PC Help Forum. Well I will try that second option tomorrow when I get in but I am not sure that that will work....It is just so very strange because it I have access to change everything else and I can save files on it and stuff I just cant rename the folder I can even keep and use the folder as New Folder! But who wants that....Here is a link that I found that seemed to be addressing this problem but it is for Windows 2000 and I dont even think that I have the Client Ware Installed that it is talking about but it is a reference none the less. Thanks Again for your help and let me know what you think about this link http://www.wintrouble.net/cgi-bin/ub...c;f=9;t=000014

Well I think I figured out the problem through some online research. Even though we have Dell PCs our server is on an Apple/MAC. Apparently Appleshare IP 6.1 has a bug in it where it will not let someone rename a folder, but it will let them do everything else. Strange huh? So far I have only been able to find that the update is 6.3.3 version which is very expensive. We actually know this is the problem because we signed onto our other server which has 6.3.3 on it and there was no problem. It seems strange that Apple only has a paid version for this bug. Does anybody know a way around this? (for free) If not we will just end up buying a new server. No sense of wasting all that money for an upgrade when you can buy a brand new Windows Server. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks for everything!
