Default [Fixed] SP2 removed outlook express!!?!

I installed the SP2 update yesterday and now my outlook express seems to have gone!! The shortcut from the desktop and start menu have been removed, and there are no programme execute files in the programme folder!!

Any ideas on how to bring it back??

Default [Fixed] SP2 removed outlook express!!?!

Welcome to PCHF!

You could try the following:

Control Panel > Add remove programs > Add remove windows components > untick Outlook express and apply (ie: next etc) - ok - then go back into the same window and re-tick the box, then apply.

Let us know if this works.

Ive been told that SP2 was hacked into when it came onto Version 5 of Windows Update.

How do you mean "hacked" WNA? Where did u get that info from?

yeah, removing then readding in the add/remove prgs menu of windows components worked. thanx!!
